Hello, deer friends! Welcome to the updates for the horror anthology, THE DEER IS MESSED UP.

As many of you know, we have a Kickstarter to fund this—as of this writing, on May 31st, it’s ongoing, with 3 days left and just over 50% left to fund.

I (Merc) created this little newsletter to provide periodic updates about the project, since social media can be scattershot and I wanted a dedicated place to keep related posts from falling into the void!

While we have fingers, toes, antlers and hooves crossed that the project can make a heroic last stand and cross the finish line… in the event it doesn’t, this is the place to keep an eye on for updates on what comes next!

Because this anthology will come to pass, as the ancients have foretold… okay, basically I’ve wanted to read a dedicated fucked-up deer anthology for years, and since one didn’t materialize (I know!) I decided to spearhead the project.

Long story short… THE DEER IS MESSED UP will be revived. Deer never really die, after all.
